Village Launch facilitates the CO.STARTERS Get Started Workshops to equip starters of all business types with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn ideas into action through four hour, topically-focused sessions. Whether you’re just getting started or stuck on a particular issue, these workshops will provide the jumpstart needed to get you moving!

Who is the Get Started Workshop For?

The Early-Stage Idea: Some ideas are so early-stage that the guided assistance this workshop offers can bring clarity and direction on a way forward prior to receiving more in-depth help.

The Time-Strapped: Because of the lower time commitment, we can help those who are looking for help but aren’t ready to commit to the full ten-week program. Participating in this workshop will provide an opportunity to experience the value CO.STARTERS offers first hand and hopefully help you see the value of committing to the longer program. If you do decide to apply for the 10-Week Business Entrepreneur Academy, you workshop fee can be applied to the cost of that program.

The Lean Startup Novice: The tools used in this workshop will expose those who are already in business to valuable lean startup methods, helping you refine your models and use customer feedback to improve.

Village Launch Alumni: (BEA Grads & NASHA Lending Grads) It can provide a way for you as an alumni to engage in a refresher course from time to time. If you stepped away from your business or need to pivot directions due to unforeseen circumstances.

What Does the Get Started Workshop Cover?

During the three hour workshop, participants will have the opportunity to help each other explore their ideas through the CO.STARTERS Canvas, refine their models through meaningful customer feedback, and define next steps. Participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other members of the community and make valuable connections.
